Family Faith Day
- A wonderful time for our Catholic community!
Students and staff enjoyed a wonderful
International Food Festival Experience last Thursday, Oct 16th, 2008. Students
participated in many activities during the week: World Championship Basketball,
Essay and Poem Writing Contest, World Trivia Competition and of course our
Famous Lunch Fest - click here to see the pictures!
This year, the students participated in a PEACE MAKING activity in which all
students were able to share their apologies to others whom they may have hurt in
some shape or form. The response to this activity was amazing. The students were
brought closer in spirit and in faith to each other and to God.
We would like to thank all parents who were able to help us make this event a spectacular one.

Introducing the EcoTeam! Under the leadership of Ms. Erdelyi, this is a group dedicated to turning St.F.X. a certified e-school through energy conservation, waste minimization, ecological literacy and school yard greening. The big push right now is for classroom lights and computer monitors to be turned off when not in use.
The St.F.X. Catholic School Council and Pope John Paul Catholic
School recently teamed up to erect a new school sign. The Catholic School
Council has been fundraising for the last few years to make this project a
reality. Congratulations to all parents who contributed to this project in
various ways and to all who worked relentlessly on this undertaking. Thanks to
our families, community, the schools, and Dave's Reliable Signs for making this
dream a reality.

Mr. Soucy invites all students from grades 7 to 12 to math and science clinic every Wednesday after school. The clinic is a work period for students who need help in math, physics and chemistry.
